Changed To New Eheim Ecco Pro 300

I gave up on the allpondsolutions 1000EF+ as it didnt seem to be doing the job so i bought the ecco pro 300,ive it all set up and i have the spray bar on the side of the tank,am just watching the fish swimming in it and the pressure coming from it is pushing them back down the tank will this cause anything to the fish will the stress out or anything like that etc?

Depends on the size of the tank and what the output of the filter is. When they try to sleep too much flow becomes an issue

its a rio 240,its 8w at 750 LPH.....pump output 200gph    hope this is the right info lol

What fish are they ?
Some fish love it some won't but the fact that they're swimming into it suggests to me that they like it.  My Harlies absolutely love it the more flow the better they're always up there surfing in the water flow, whereas my GBR hate it so stay away from it.
 
 
In a 240 litre your fish have plenty of places to get away from the spray bar if they wanted ad there should be calm spots in there for them to rest/sleep.
I have an ecco pro 300 in my 125 litre and it's not too strong for me.  You could always turn the flow down a little or angle the spray bar differently if it is causing a problem

Thanks b3cca,it is the 2 wee oscars mainly although there are a couple of others doing it as-well,just i thought that it would maybe cause them some little bit of stress,but they just seem to be keep swimming in to it so like you say it mustn't be bothering them and they like surfing it just need to get them both a wee surf board each now lol
