Can't Access Chat

What's going on? LOL, I love chats xD but it keeps saying I don't have access to that page! Is it because of my seniority or post count?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You need to have 60 posts to get in

Until you have reached 60 useful posts on the site you will be restricted from the following activities:
Using the chat room
Starting threads in the classified section though you may reply to existing threads.
Creating a signature
Write a review
Send/Read 2 Private Message per Day during the first 60 posts
These restrictions are designed to protect the forum and it's members from spam, unwanted posts, and to encourage new members to join in the discussions. Discussions are what make this forum great.

Taken from the general rules section. You must agreed to the terms to access the chat room. One of these terms is that you've read, understood and will adhere to the general rules. Just sayin'...

Ah, the eternal struggle! But we're glad when people don't cross over to the spammer side.
 
Just a quick note on why we decided to restrict chat for new members...
 
We restrict chat because we want people to spend time on the boards talking about the fish they have, asking and answering questions, and generally becoming part of the community. What we hope for is that the chat room will be mostly for socializing and the board for fish related Q&A.
 
If a new member comes here for a particular question and asks it in chat, that answer is given and only those in chat at the time get to see it. But, if they post on the board then it's there for them and anyone else now and in the future that might have the same question. Chat, if used for Q&A robs others of the answers that they very well may benefit from.
