I know it's tough with the pictures but it's too small and it's my camera phone. It's brown with yellow spots on the shell.

i'm no snail expert, but id say that's a common pond snail. I'll move this over to the snail section. :good:

Oh no. They're bad right.

Yep, that's a pond snail. And they can get out of hand very quickly, especially if you have a tendency to overfeed. I just got some assassin snails, and they're starting to go to town.

Pond snails are algae feeders some subspecies develop a taste for plants. They fill a niche in the ecosystem and the population will grow if you have high wastage of food and be minimal if you don't. I like them and add them to my tanks purposely.
 
yeah pond snail i have a few of these i found them nice to watch while my tank was cycling but then noticed ramshorns too so got some assassin snails to keep them in check after a few days they have now started to eat them, assassin look nice too and are really fun to watch them do there base jumping thing lol
