last time i went to the local fish market and saw the ice blue, they were spawning in the tank in front of me.
so i took 7 of them 2 males and 5 females, as i went home i added thm to my tank a 45gallon the tank that they spawned in was half the size of mine, so i figured if they spawned in that then theyll spawn in mine! the first day the male was showing off to the females and was interested but the females did'nt want to mate i think. now they may have lost interests in spawning. what should i do to encourage them to spawn?
and my tank has caves and everything sand substrate, and nothing in it except ice blue, and 2 kenyii( one male and other one is still unsexed but they are both smaller than th ice blue)
i'm thinking that it's may have been because that the kenyyi are more aggresive and so the ice blue cant spawn?
what do you guys think?

You need to give them time to adjust to their new home, and your type of water... Unless the kenyi are being aggressive towards them, i doubt its them putting them off by them just being there.

Be patient, im sure they'll spawn when they're ready and comfortable... an article you may be interested in.. HERE.. and HERE

Btw, my Afra's took months and months before they first spawned, but my P.Elongatus spawned within 4days.. its different for each.

GoodLuck :good:
