Best thing to dois get some JBL NovoTabs and offer tem, you will see them go mental once they realise what it is! They are like the algae wafers but much higher protein. Would do good to bee 2/3 nobotabs and 1/3 algae wafers or a mixed one like Tetra Multi Wafers

Thank you thank you I feel our tank is going to have to change quite a lot to suit this little man, at the moment i can see why he is just hiding under the bridge the whole time. I have some plec wafers which came with the fish tank when the lady gave it to us and he doesnt seem bothered by them?!
