Can Someone Help Me Again

it has died so i went over today and got some new fish i got and alge eater and an upside down catfish and a femal guppy. They gave me some stress coat to help introduce the new fish into the tank. Well now i did a water test and my results are the same till the nitrite which has went up to 4 and my nitrate is up to 20 so i shold do another 50% water change but should i leave the fish in and the water is village water and i dont know how to heat the water up to 76 to put it back in the tank with out puting it in and letting it heat up with the fish in it or using warm water???

You might want to do a bit of reaseach on the type of algy eater you have, most of them grow too big to be in a ten gallon. Do you have a male and a female guppy? If you do they will breed, and they breed a lot. One female guppy can have any where between 1 and 60 fry (baby fish) at one time. They will do this about once a month. If you want to keep the fry you should move them to a different tank as soon as possible. The parents and other fish will eat them. I raised a batch of guppy fry, and it was fun. I had 18 of them and I had them in a ten gallon tank. When they started to croud eachother I gave them to my lfs. I wanted to keep 6 males origonaly, but they wouldn't stop fighting so I had to give them up too :( .
I'm sorry that your fish died :rip: . It sounded like it might have been a fungis.
Yes, If I where you I would do a 50-75% waer change immidiatly. Make sure you get most of the junk out of the gravle, it causes the ammonia to rise. I just dip my finger into my fishes water, then dip it into the new water from the tap, and I keep doing this untill the tap from the water feels like the water in the tank.
