Can I start adding a snail now?

Hi, I started a silent cycle with my ~13 gallon tank on 26 July. Photos included below. Can I add a snail now? I am still planning on adding more plants and hardscape - I kinda rushed into the whole thing haha. I will add water parameters when I test them tomorrow morning.

If the tank has been running for a month it can take a snail and a few small fish, assuming there is no ammonia or nitrite in the water. If there is, do a 90-100% water change using dechlorinated water and wait a few days, then add snail and a few small fish (depending on what you want to keep).
