Seriously, when I first joined this forum and read everyone's posts etc about oscars I thought they were ugly too! But it's their character that is the main thing with them, it's very individual. I've only had mine since Sunday and I love the little guy to bits already, he's so cute the way he begs for food and is so alert and interested in what's going on

Seriously, when I first joined this forum and read everyone's posts etc about oscars I thought they were ugly too! But it's their character that is the main thing with them, it's very individual. I've only had mine since Sunday and I love the little guy to bits already, he's so cute the way he begs for food and is so alert and interested in what's going on

I have 6 differant kinds of American cichlids and I find every one of them has lots of personality and they all beg even the little rams. My big guys see me comeing from 10 feet away and swim out of no where to greet me.Dancing and giving me the puppy dog eyes.

Yeah they all have their own personalities, that's why I like cichlids and bettas so much.
