Can I Put Guppies In My Tank?

Hello all, hope you are all well. Ok so i have a 4 foot tank with 2 young angel fish a common plec who is around 6", and 6 lemon tetras. will guppies be ok in with these the ones i realy wasnt sure on were the angel fish, what do you guys think.

Isnt a 4 footer a 55g tank? If so, i would rehome trh eplco, that tank is too small for him. I would be afraid for the tetras and the guppis, because when the angels grow they might eat them, the tetras are more likely to get eaten though. But considering you rid of the pleco, yes you could put some in, i owuld just be afriad for them when the angels get bigger.

ok thanks for reply, i was told my tank is big enough for the plec its almost 500 liters, 2foot wide 4 foot long and 2foot high, i was told my plec woud get to around a foot. As for my angels i was told as long as they are not as small as neons they would be fine, so looks like i have been given all the wrong advise.

wait sorry, i got confusd. According tot eh Aquarium Calculator, you tank is 120 gallon. Plenty big for a Pleco. Sorry for confusing you! The angels will get atleast 8 inches tall in such a big tank.

no problem thank you for your quick reply, will have to have a good think of what to stock the tank with now then as my angels look set to turn in to monsters

The angels will get to be a good size but I seldom have trouble when I put them with guppies. There are not likely to be guppy fry that survive in that tank but that is not a real problem for most people. What would you do with a bunch of guppy fry anyway. If you really had a place for the guppy fry, you could always separate them until they get bigger before putting them in the tank.
