Can I Get A Couple Of Catfish?

i have a 10 gallon fish tank
-1 angelfish about 2 inches big
-2 aradise fish about 2 inches big..
would i be able to get a bristlenose pleco with maybe 2 corys ?
and i know u aint meant to have an angel in a 10 gallon.. i will upgrade when they are a bit bigger.
but is it possible to get a pleco and 2 corys ?

No - I would upgrade to a 30g now and then get the bristlenose and a proper school of cories ie around 6-8

If you like big fish get a big tank. If you have a small tank get small fish.

i think they know what they are talking about and they said it should be fine... as it has enough sace for the angel.
i am on here for a bit of help to ask if i can get corys and a bristlenose because they are cleaning fish ( scavengers/algae eater) and i do regular water changes... nothing swims on the bottom .. i need somthing down there !

Im in norfolk which shop are you talking about?
To be fair they cant know that much about them because they grow 6-8" and need lots of horozontal and vertical swimming space.

ive never even heard of it. Where in Suffolk are you?
The best place around here is swallow aquatics in east harling but thats a bit of a treck for you. Theres a good place in bury called tut hill.
If you do upgrade let me know if your intrested in any of the cats because i need them gone so i can set up me 150G

Have a look on ebay theres normally some good priced tanks on there. I got a 150G for £65.
I would go for a 4ft one because it will give any cats a longer swimming length. It needs to be atleast 18" high though because angels need alot of vertical swimming space aswell.

Yeah. The males have bristles and the females dont.

well at the store they are about an inch long so i don't think i would be able to tell the difference because males fight don't they ?

At that small you cant tell. The males wont really be that bothered by each other because there not sexually mature yet. If you want a pair its best to get 5 and wait for 2 to pair. You should be able to tell once they get 2 1/2-3" long.
Ive got a load of BNs at 2" for sale. And all of mine have the albino gene so if you breed to fry together you would get 25% brown, 25% albino and 50% brown with the albino gene.
In a 30G i would stick to just one type of plec.

also can i ask how big your male is now ?

Hes 5". I got him when he was about 2 1/2" and after 9 months hes 5".

yeh so i should just get the bristlenoses
also for some reason i really like corys
i was goin to get some kuhli loaches but i just don't know because they may die and then if i cannot find them it might affect my water

If ou get a 30G you could have 2 BNs and 8 corys

how can i get loads of algae on rocks
e.g. putting them in a bucket and leaving them outside ?
so they can grow loads of algae for the pleco
would they get parasites on them though ?
