I want to apeal to your showy side and ask if you would care to show me your Betta tanks....

The reason is that I am no longer happy with mine and I would like some ideas to ....erm.....copy

At the mo mine is like an overgrown example of my signiture. I get a lot of black on the plant leaves which is a pain.

In fact here it is just before I cleaned it up and water changed.

sorry about the poor picture quality. this is my old tank design for one of my boys. he now live in a large divided tank - i will put piccys up at the weekend once my new betta arrives.
I also have a new boy in a tank in my bedroom,.. i will be making a betta post over the weekend and will show off all my little tanks then; but here enjoy! :good:

by the way - i love the way your tank looks as it is!!! your betta is stunning too!!

here's mine :) i can recommend a highly planted tank for a betta, mine loves hiding amongst the dense plants at the back, and also loves the little cave in the rock at the front! (he also quite liked sitting behind my filter before I got an external!)

plants floating at the top are good for bettas too :) it'll encourage them to build bubble nests!

one of my betta (I really should give him a name!):

one of my tank before I divided it:

(and before I doubled the plant numbers, lol!)

Lovely, great fish too......has that big rock got a fish face in it?

A fish face? where do you see a fish face?

Oh god....it must be me then

Right, follow me here.....small lump where the heater meets the rock (that's a nose) Below that a grey bit then brown lips with small amount of teeth showing. Set well back from the nose is a black eye with grey under. A little black ear near where it turns yellow.

I can see it but maybe it's a senior moment
