Can I add 2 blue gouramies to my 40H? (36Lx22Hx12W inches)

The current inhabitants are:
Green severum
5 rummy nose tetras
6 cories (peppered, aeneus, harbrosus)
5 serpae tetras

I have the blues in my 10 right now, was going to move them to the 20 when I get rid of my blood parrots, but the idea of putting them in the 40 occured to me.

Yes you can. My only concern would be for aggression between themselves but seeing as they are ok in the 10 gallon (wow), they should do fine. Out of curiosity - how old/big are they, are they both blue or are they different color morphs and do you know what sex they are?

I just got them yesterday, so I'll keep them in the 10 for a few days as a QT so there's not a big chance of disease. They're about an inch. Right after they got out of the bag, it looked they were fighting (spinning around and biting), but that has stopped.

I think that they're both males.

One is DEFINETLY a blue, the other is mostly white, but it might be under a little stress so it's not showing. They both have 2 spots on them (why are they called 3 spot?).

Wilder, it's a 40H like I said in the first post.
