Can Cloudy Water From New Gravel Harm Fish?

I have just replaced my sand in my 28g and used aquarium gravel instead, now i did wash the gravel but the water is still a bit dirty, will the harm the fish?

just done a 50% and its looking better =]

Add some fresh filter floss if you have it, this will trap the dirty particles in the water and clear it quicker.
