I had to persuade the wife that the bottle was safe. What's the difference from one bottle to the next is the objection here. You could buy a JBL bottle kit and attach it to a FE that has had itself re-painted with JBL in a nice silver colour and bang you have the same thing, just more of it in the FE. It's a shame when people come across these issues of people being close minded. Same happens with fishless cycling, if they don't get the science behind it, they do not trust it to be right.
 
I agree with what has been said though. either go multi-bottle yeast, it will still help the plants, or go with  JBL kit, not a huge waste of money when you get your own home in the future and can go FE.
