Can Anyone Identify These Fish?

Purchased as zodiac loaches:

But looks more like:

Any help much appreciated.

i don't think it looks like either of the links, the 1st the pattern is very different, the 2nd the nose is too long

They are really really nice fish, however im having trouble with them. They were bought in a group one of which jumped through a 1" square gap at the back of the tank and was found dead the next morning. The others are quite territorial, verging on aggresive which is the opposite of what the LFS had said. If i can identify the species i should be able to check my aquarium setup and see if its what they need

It looks to me like one of the Schistura genus, perhaps this one?

There are a few similar looking fish, so check out all the Schituras.

Do you have any pics from the side? the only loach I can think of with similar striped is Botia dario but they're usually not that perfect.

edit: Actually how similar are they to 'Parabotia lijiangensis' ?

hmmm how big are they?

Nope dont think it is those, they dont hover in midwater choosing infact to often bury themselves in the sand:

They are maybe 2-2.5" at most.
