Buying Rock?

can anyone recomend me some good websites to buy aquarium rocks from. i want to create a landscape similar to the one bellow to give an idea of sizes i require. www.lilviv.com/.../ocean180/tiger_school1.jpg is the website for the image of the landscape i want to create.

Why buy rocks? You could just go out to a lake, river, or on a hike and collect your own. That's what I do. I did however buy a rose quartz but thats because we don't have any here and I have a soft spot for that type of rock don't ask.

Any ways. Just look for your own rocks make sure you scrub them clean and wash them off with HOT water. You can test them to make sure they will not mess with your PH. To test use the

if you have a nitrate test kit, you may also already have a better test than vinegar for lime content in rocks. My Aquarium Pharmaceuticals Nitrate Test contains two bottles of prepared solutions. Solution #1, labelled "Caution: contains hydrochloric acid," comes in a handy squeeze dropper bottle. If a drop or two on a candidate rock fizzes, or even bubbles, that rock would raise the pH in the aquarium.

Garden stores are good places to get rocks too. Shipping cost on rocks is going to be so much more then the rock is worth so why buy online.

Go hiking around here & you'll come up with plenty of concrete and asphalt. Construction sites yield some results, but if you are looking for something in particular best bet is a landscaping outfit.

Where do you live?

And before you start messing about with acids what sort of fish are in the tank you want rock for?

i agree with tolak,you could buy them from your lfs but they charge alot more than a landscapeing company for basically the same rock.
