Buying Jewel Rio 400 Is Filter Good Enough?

so if I go into my LFS and ask for floss for my filter, they will know what I am on about

Hopefully they will, if not ask for Pond floss. It come in sheets of different sizes and just looks like thick cotton wool. You can also get it in rolls of you want to stock up, works out cheaper in the long run.

Tell you what! what a great help all of you have been. This post has turned into quite a heated debate, and I know that personal preferences have a big part to play in setting up a tank.
