I bought one about a month and a half ago to see if it would help with the algae on my plants, it was about 4cm long the only problem is that I have not seen it since I put it in, I think one of my Ghost knife fish must have eaten it. :D

Try and encourage green algae in the tank, some natural sunlight (but not direct sun) encourages good algal growth. They feed on micro organisms within the algae. Saying that though, my two go nuts for powdered flake! :alien: :fun:

I've 3 Syno Notatus youngsters (3"), still have a lot of growing to do though :huh: :alien:
