Bubble wand or Curtain

Our tank is roughly 3 mos old. We have the fish listed in my signature and I have been hearing about the tank needing more oxygen. Does anyone have any ifo on which is better or is it just preference?

The way to add more oxygen is to agitate the surface water - the more ripples - the more oxygen. A bubble wand or curtain doesn't actually add that much oxygen and is not really necessary unless you like the look of them. Try lifting your filter outlet (if possible) to create a cascading effect on the surface as this will produce more oxygen than a wand or curtain.

The wand or curtain actually does more agitation than you give it credit for. Just watch the surface of a tank with one in it. Mine was so effective at agitation, it was agitating water out of the tank until I got some valves to control the air pressure.
