Hi all,

just a quick one. If i was thining about trying to breed any of my fish (tetra's Danio's, dwarf cichlids, shrimp), what size of tank would be ideal in addition to the 125L community tank i have. Just really speaking hypothetically as it would be down to finances, so you don't need to list loads of detail.

cheers

Andy

A 20 g with an air driven sponge filter would be suitable for breeding most things; it doesn't have to pretty like a show tank, so second hand would do.

I used filter media from my established tank to cycle prior to adding my fry to it, and kept lots of plants and java moss as hidey holes for them.

All you need for a good breeding/fry raising tank is a sponge filter and java moss.

Coolio, thanks guys. I'll see whats knocking about on ebay.

Thanks guys

Andy
