is it possible to breed 2 different types of cory? or do they have to be the same? im planning on getting 1 or 2 new corys for my tank and it would be nice to get ones that will breed.

Hi billy61788 :)

If you plan to breed them, it's best to have the same kind of corys.

Have you ever bred them before? Or bred any egg layers? If not, I suggest you get some bronze C. aeneus. These:

They are not difficult to breed and are a good choice for a first time breeder of egglayers. Plan to get at least 3 or 4 if you are buying young ones to be certain of getting a male and a female since it is impossible to tell the sexes apart when they are young.
