Box Turtle Help

I'm planning on getting a desert box turtle. Do you think a 50 gallon rubbermaid tub with a UBV and a 100 Watt Clamp lamp, 8 inches of potting soil (organic), two BIG half logs, and a BIG water dish would do the trick? I plan on looking up their diet too. So If you could help out there it would be appreciated greatly.
