Bought Plant, Baby Fishy In Bag !

It is a small guppy. Maybe just a feeder but could be almost anything with a plant. Plant tanks are often used as hospital tanks around here. It is definitely not an endler. I have hundreds of them and they just are not pale like that guy. They also don't have that thick bodied look to them. Compare to my avatar which I know is an endler. Not at all alike to my eye.

Agree with the guppy. That's not an endler's. It's a wild feeder guppy for sure. :) Atleast you got one with SOME color! I get a lot of hitched-rided guppies that have no patterns at all. :(

Looks like all of the above to me !

It is constantly swimming against the current up top by the bubbler. I think it's trying to find it's friends. It is on a neverending journey...LOL

Only thing I can figure is return it to the store when it gets bigger. The store does not sell those as feeders, however I feel it is likely going to end up being a feeder. So, I don't know what I am even doing this for

If it's a feeder I might as well toss it my tank.....but don't think I can bring myself to do that. Good grief.

That is not ENDLERS CROSS, just orginal feeder guppy. That would be rare for the endler cross find a way in the feeder tanks. It amazed me how many people thinks the feeder guppies in the LFS are endler hybrids which they are not. I don't see any endler traits in Faythee's guppy. And your guppy won't get bigger more than 1 1/4 inch long or so.

I do not care what type guppy it is. It was not in a feeder tank, it was in the plant tank. I am assuming they put fry in there away from larger fish that will eat them. They do not sell feeder guppies. I am going to grow it out and take it to another store near me with a nice guppy tank to put it into.

I fed it a Betta pellet tonite and it loved it. Good so far.

I found out I had a stowaway endler fry today . So I guess I now have a lone endler. Hoping it turns out to be a male, but either way my rainbows tried to eat him. So he's hanging out in a breeder box for now, gave him some frozen BBS earlier. Yay for free fish!

It's an endlers livebearer (Poecilia wingei) It is like the guppy's 'cousin' and it is rare, the one you have is a male, females are a grey/ gold colour. It will cross breed with guppies so try not to keep them with guppies to save hybridisation.

It may be an orange spot endler but hard to tell until full colour is shown. All endlers are rare.

I got a free "rare" fishy ? COOL

Its not a pure endler but i think its definitly a cross between a guppy and a endler.

My guess is that it could of jumped down in to the tank, are the tanks stacked? it happens a lot in my lfs (yet still they dont bother to put the condensation lids bk on
