Bogwood And Ph ?

Hi , I am planning to set up a tank for small cichlids, they have to be in a high pH , was wanting to put in a small piece of bogwood for a BN to rasp on, I am aware bogwood releases tannins and will lower pH to more acidic, if the tank has aragonite sand, ocean rock, tufa rock , will it lower it enough to make much difference ?
Any correspondence greatly appreciated.....

You probably wouldn't see the difference. The substrate will buffer your water regardless of the wood.
