Bog Wood

Ok my wood is well & truly waterlogged now. Looking at it I would like to break it in half lengthways so I get two bits to plant on. Anyone attempted this? If so how would I go about it?

a very small axe would be perfect, otherwise a chisel or flat head screw driver and a hammer. make sure you go with the grain and not try to cut against it. the two pieces might want another soak bfore putting them in th tank

Yay, you said the magic word. AXE!!!!! im off to the shed.

edited because I cant spell :(

 axe. 'Aqua Tom axe wielding maniac!' (My browser underlines my bad spelling like a constant school teacher :/)

I attacked the wood with my chopper, oeer missus, & now have three nice long thin bits rather than a big lump.
