males will have bristles female not but if u buy them as juviniles then neither probably will have bristles untill a little older as 2 weather u have male and female thats totally upto if they do breed and u have a source 2 off load babies constantly then yes male and female would be perfect

only males have bristles on the nose. females may have bristles, but never on the nose. you can only sex them at 2.5-3". i'd get a male because i like the look of bristles.
