I have a 55Gallon and I already had one blue gourami in it, and that was it. I liked him alot, so my girlfriend surprised me with another. Of course I accepted it and was excited, but Ive released it in there now, and the new one she got is about 2 inches longer than the old one, about 30% bigger than the one I had. And its also a male. Whats strange is they are not attacking eachother or anything, but when the new big one goes near the old smaller one, the old smaller one bends itsself about 90 degrees and rolls over on its side, then swims away and returns to normal. Is it really bad to have these 2 in the same tank? And why is he doing that only when the big ones around.

Thanks guys!

I have 4 gouramis in a 45 gallon tank. One is always dominant. In my tank, the spotted one is the boss. They all know who the boss is. They all kinda shy away from him.
