I have a hex tank with a long filter intake that's a clear plastic tube. Being clear, you'd think it would blend into the background, but it's actually very visible. I want to wrap a sheet of something black around it, so what would be suitable inside the tank?
Aquarium backing would be easiest, anyone know if this is OK in water? Black bin liner? Any other thoughts?
Thanks :)

Maybe you could try an offcut of black aquarium background. I would have thought that is fish safe :) You could tie it with fishing line or such.

Depends on the size, but maybe something like black PVC conduit, or a piece of larger black pipe cut in half, then stuck over the top of it? You could even wrap moss around it for a bit of a different look :)

I think I'll try a bit of background then, sealed at the back with aquarium sealant :) Thanks
