one of the badly affected plants, well a few of them are on a rock, but the rock is about a foot square and 6 inch high, has 3 massive anubias plants and a big bunch of the windelov fern, i think i can just chop most of the bad bits of the windelov off as it regenerates quite quickly,
the 3 big anubias grow at approximately, 1 new leaf every 2 weeks (average), but are big leaves so it would obviously make more of an impact cutting off its leaves. i cant take it out anyway, i have a 2.5 foot x 2 foot x 1 foot bit of bogwood layed right across the top of it.
so i just get the excel/easy-carbo in a pippette thing and just squrt it straight onto the affected areas?
there is a lot so wouldn't there be a point where it would overdose the tank squirting it on every bit of hair algae? or would i dose the whole tank in addition to the bits i put on the algae?
would it be best to pour out the measured amount and not go over that much, use what ever i need for the pippette and just tip the rest in the tank?
lots of questions!!
Dave
Edit: has anyone used 'aqua essentials' on ebay? if so, are they any good? they have 1000ml easy carbo for £19.99 + £3.99 p+p, is that any good?
