Black Ghost Knifefish Emergency

I was syphoning water out of my tank during a water change with a hose when my 4 inch Black ghost knifefish came too close. His head went in and nothing else would fit so it left him with a cut around his head and flesh exposed on the top. 
I am really worried and i can't do anything else because i'm leaving for florida tomorrow for 2 weeks while my cleaner looks after the tank. 
will he be ok?!!!!

Well, for starters 95% of tanks are too small for an adult ( 2 foot ) ghost knife. As for the injury id hospitalize him and pray.

what size is your bgk ? how is it doing ?

came back from holiday- he was fine and the area had healed
he is about 10cm at the moment
