I am thinking of getting a tank and I wish to get some gourami's and a Black ghost knife fish but I was wondering if a 15L baby biorb moonlight was big enough for a BGK to be comfortable? Also are gourami's and a BGK a good idea in terms of friendliness?

BGK can reach around 50cm so a 15 litre Biorb is way too small.
Unfortunately, it is too small to house most fish, including Gouramies.

Ideally, a minimum of 4ft but personally wouldn't put it in anythiong less than a 5ft tank.

Depends on what type of Gourami and Tetra you were thinking.
If it's smaller Tetras like Glowlight, Neon etc. and Honey Gouramies, then a 2ft would be ok. Bigger species and you would be looking at 3ft minimum.
