The only problem I see is hole in the head which can be caused in Cichlids by poor water quality. Now i've heard conflicting opinions on this. I think I even posted this as a poll about a year ago or so. I got the impression a 55gal tank would be enough. Maybe not. Not having kept the fish I can't say for sure then, just the impression I got in the past.
and what exactly are you doing about this hole in the head in your oscars
you dont seem particularly bothered about it . do the right thing and re-home those poor
