Big (5Ft) Tanks With Curved Corners

This has always been my 'ultimate' tank and there is a possibilty it may become reality
I have never seen a tank stand I like, except the oak ones in MH, so I would ideally like to buy just a tank and have a stand made by wharf. There are a couple of sellers on ebay that do them, 5ft by 2ft high by 17" back to front.
Anyone ever seen them 2ft back to front with curved corners?

I havn't seen one so big with curved corners but Im sure you could get one built to those specifications by one of the many recommended aquarium makers around.

Oooh, I haven't got that kind of money! I did go and have a sneaky peek on some bespoke websites though
Does a narrow tank restrict stocking choices? I really, really want a shoal of congo tetras as my 'centerpiece'.

narrow tanks that are tall do not have as much surface area so stocking will be reduced compared to a wider not so tall tank. even though they may hold alot of water you need surface area too

17inch back to front is a good width, congo's would do fine in that,more than fine,

5 foot in length

2 foot in depth

17inches in width

thats nearly my tank size except mine 2foot width

Thanks for the thoughts guys. Is there a rough guide to stocking using surface area anywhere?
2ft width one would be amazing, but I do really love the curved corners [sigh] I wonder if there's something about the construction that limits their depth?
As long as I can have the congos, I can build a stocking up around them

if the tanks that size, you could have a nice shoal of congo's, cichlids, catfish etc

I really like jewel cichlids-would need to research if they'd be suitable.
