Me too, deadly isn't it... always end up spending again rather than moving it to the bank account.

Already purchased a new Duvet, 5 Corydoras leucomelas and hopefully about to purchase a load more corys from someone locally who will be paid via paypal (Corydoras panda + possibly Concolor and Sterbaii)

I'm not buying a hacksaw, they're scary and cause disasters around me. Especially with Roma 125 hoods!

Good advise, if you have time on your hands... I used to buy second hand aquariums, clean them up and get them setup with second hand equipment and re-sell. Most people wanted them up and running and by purchasing the equipment and aquariums second hand I got the fun of doing it and also made a small profit towards my own tanks.. Don't have time to do it anymore but used to be fun and the money soon added up lol, only problem was making sure I resold them and didn't end up keeping them otherwise the house would have been full of tanks LOL.

Lol, that sounds quite a good idea but truthfully, I'm not looking to invest any money at the moment. I just want to spend it on getting my tank looking nice once it's cycled. I may think about doing something like that in the future though as it actually sounds quite fun, and obviously it would get me a bit of pocket.

Some of the money from my PayPal is probably going to be spent on plants and dry salts which I will be using to make my own ferts for my new tank. I may also buy some fish online however I'm not too fond of this so I'm going to try stick to purchasing from my LFS. Obviously I'm going to have some left over as I doubt I will spend £99 on plants!

You never know, I may win TOTM one time...

Yes it is good fun, and it's amaizing how cheap things can be purchased but fair enough spending is even more fun... I should know!

I would already be spending but the other night I decided to not plant my tank while it's cycling. I decided I want to keep algae blooms to a minimum so it would make sense to keep the lights turned off
