Bettas And Gouramis?

I was wondering If a male betta could live with 2 dwarf gouramis

You can try hihi, but the gouramis may want to bite his tale. That would eventually kill him.

Gourami's are terrible tank mates for bettas and should not be recommended, If you're looking for tank mates for your boy you could try something like a small group of WCMM's or Africn Dwarf Frogs or Shrimp

Hit and a miss chance, Lunar (rip) lived comfertably with 1 Dwarf Gourami, although there was mild flaring occasionally, nothing severe.

I would personally not recommend it, but if you are sure your bettas temperament is nice then you can give it a go, but be prepared for Plan B.

If you mixed a male gourami with a female betta would they try to mate? They say the 2 species are closely related so was wondering about that.

They are not nearly close enough relatives to try mating Kieth. They are both anabantoids but guppies and swordtails and even Limias are all Poeciliids, no way they will mate either.
