Betta Madness!

well visa will love me this month....

i just went on a crazy betta shopping spree.....

i got my mega biOrb this week and i needed to get some things to set it up.

so i ordered like $250 worth of stuff from the biOrb page (for both my mega and baby biOrbs) and then i went to PetSmart to get more natural plants, cat stuff, fish food, a total kit to test for ph, ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, and something else too.....and well, 4 girl bettas as i am going to start my girl community betta tank soon........ my total bill was like $124.

i think ever since i have started this betta stuff, i have spent close to $500!!!!! that's like averaging like $100 a month since end of february.

Fabiola

and i still am feeling out for the other two........

so a total in my sorority club will be six betta girls...........

Wow, you sure have spent allot of money on your fish! Lucky. I've probably only spent about $00 on my guppies and bettas ever. I only make $20 a month, lol! Good luck with your new female betta community tank!

Congratulations on your new girlie's, I gave up keeping an eye on what i have spent in this hobby, i think crying all the time made me stop looking, i just do it now

lol i did the same when i first started but every tank i saw probaly spent close to £300 in the first 2 months but have carmed down a bit since then lol oh and going to spend at least another £250-£300 setting up my FH

It is an expensive hobby. Wait till you find a fish you want to breed!

I find myself continually running up tabs for hundreds--even over a thousand once. (My blue Moba Zaire Frontosa tank, but the fish total were over a thousand in 3 pops.)

i hope this is it! i haven't even started to look into owning a black pug yet! i really want a black pug or a cute french bulldog or boston terrier. but the black pug is my primary choice.

i am tempted in buying another biOrb, but this time a biUbe, which is sorta an elongated oval but that goes up about 2 feet and has 9 gallons of space. for that one, i would love to have a non-betta tank and just put some dalmation mollys, the red mickey mouse mollys, and there are some cute bright yellow and orange little tropical fish too that i can't remember what they are.......the biUbe is about $130. but i will take my time with that. i would love to have fish in every room of the home.

i have a cat who is extremely jealous of my fish! yesterday, he was up on my bookshelf just looking at the mega orb. not excitedly but just kinda passively. anyway, he doesn't like it when i am talking or signing to my fish

and here i thought i wanted to own a cowfish......i love those but i went to an aquarium and saw how big they get and well, it's off my list. but a cowfish will always have a tender spot in my heart!

It is my Yorkie that gets excited when I talk to the fish. He barks to tell me, "Mine! Mine! Mine! Look at me! Now! Talk to me! Now!"
