Location
Right now... in front of my computer
Tank size: 7.5 Gallons
pH: 8.0 (I know it is high, it is just this area's water)
ammonia: None
nitrite: None
nitrate: .5 ppm
kH: high (as always)
gH: high (as always)

Fish Symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior):
The betta has turned brown from being red. She is laying on the bottom, which can be fine, but she is also panting. She has eggs and has had them for a while. I believe that she may be having trouble reabsorbing them. Any advice or insight would be appreciated.
Volume and Frequency of water changes:
Once a week
Chemical Additives or Media in your tank:
Just an average filter
Tank inhabitants:
Just the betta
Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration):
Java moss
Exposure to chemicals: none

Can you post some pictures?

She could be egg bound in which case the result is often death. Adding epsom salt might help but if she's already at the point of acting lethargic it might be too late. Without pictures I can't say for sure though.

I recently lost two bettas no three I do not know why.....I've been searching my mind for answers..I spent all day Saturday Sunday with last one hoping she'd pull through they we're fed well from gate
