Fish Herder
Hello all,
Things have been quiet on the Betta front for me lately so I haven't been posting much lately. However today is pretty exciting for me. I received a young pair of Mouthbrooding Betta Kapuas through the IBC SMP program (actually the VP of our local chapter got several pairs of 3 different species and asked other members to take some of the pairs, so I took this pair). They are settling in nicely in their new tank and just had their first meal, live daphnia
They are happily eating up all the little critters now.
The plan is for them to eventually spawn and I will be keeping records per the SMP request. I'll keep you all updated as to their progress. They are still a bit young and I've been told it could be a month or so before they are ready to spawn.
They're not much to look at but I'll try and get some pictures in a day or two after they've had time to settle down after their long trips.
Linda
