Betta Food

I'll try and get some pictures of him, hes kinda cool, maybe thatl help identify whether its male or female.

I found these on ebay because im not sure if my LFS sell betta food - HIKARI BETTA BIO-GOLD 2 packs for £3.50 +Free Del. Would that be any good:

I was looking at frozen bloodworms because i thought one of the fish pictures displayed on the packaging was a betta, but looked slightly different so i didnt buy them, and the bloke said flakes will do. Do they come in cubes like frozen daphnia? And im assuming since i have a small tank and only one fish atm, i dont feed him the whole cube as itl be too much food and most will go to waste.

You said thaw it in tank water? My dad usually just plonks a cube of daphnia straight into his tank from the frezer and it instantly starts breaking up which the fish eat.

Also i went out for an hour or two last night, came back and i found gravel to be pushed from one of the sides in the corner. Do they usually dig or something?

Though my boy gets live food as a special treat (which is a mission, seeing as the danios want it too so I have to try and distract them so he gets some) I usually give him Tetra Betta which he enjoys - and thankfully, the danios don't :good:

Cool.

And heres the man himself, not the best of pictures but il try and get more (click to enlarge):

And a small clip of him i took for the hell of it:
