Best Skimmer For A Rio 125?

so in the next few months im wanting to convert my tropical tank into a marine one. Im seeing a lot of people like the deltec skimmers cus there very neat and hang onto the back of the tank so you cant see them...is this right? as im wanting one that doesnt stick out of the top of the tank and look a complete eye sore, but the cheapest ive seen them for on ebay is £153+ is there similar ones a little cheaper? also how loud are the skimmers as the tank would be in my bedroom. a

also what ever skimmer i decide on am i going to have to cut the flaps on the lid of my tank to fit the skimmer in place??

you will priobably have to cut the flaps a bit.

id go for a deltec mce300, great skimmer and there no big ugly pump that sits in the tank like some! cough TMC cough

same place were i got my tmc and its a good site
my tmc was £65 and i have to say i would never buy one again. the pump is huge and it sits in the tank. so i made sump for it and its the most noisiness thing in the world. well when its in your bedroom. so stay clear from the tmc 400. but now they have made a compact version now but still i wouldnt get one.
