I have a 25 gallon tank with 4 Zebra Danios. What would be a good hardy Gourami to add? Can i get only one? I also plan to stock the tank with some Cardinals or Rasboras. Thanks.
I have a 29 gallon with 3 Blue Gourami's and 3 Zebra Danio's, and they live together fine. I couldn't tell you about putting Blue's with the other fish you questioned about.
It would depend on what size gourami that you are looking for. I personally like the pearl or moonlight gourami, as they are a bit more peaceful then the varieties of 3 spots. A dwarf variety would work nicely as well and you could probably get a pair of them.
In my experience the gouramis are mostly aggressive to their own kind.
