It means that the person agrees with the above statement.

Yes, it is a quick way to let you tally up the responses: as I had nothing to add to the statement, there was no point re-writing it. So it was just a confirmation that my opinion is the same.

Hi all
this morning i redosed to 4 ppm and tonight i am at 0.25 should i now redose every 12 hrs??

If you're doing the add and wait you need to wait till it hits zero. Then you can add the full whack every 24 hours. Chose evening or morning for the re-dose and stick to it. We chose evening as it means we're not playing with Ammonia with the children around / in work clothes.

ok, but i checked a couple of hours after and it was zero, so should i wait another 12 hrs before redosing?? ie tomorrow morning??
best wishes berbie

Wait until 24 hours.

That's what I understand. It feels counter intuitive however I guess that it also gives the n-bacs some time to attack the nitrate without more heading their way. It also mimics some of the environment they'll be in with dish being fed even 24 hours so there being a sudden rise in ammonia even 24 hours? Just a guess :)

There are also a lot more factors involved here than just the ammonia and nitrite. There are also more things that the bacteria need to do than just process the chemicals. Building biofilms, splitting cells, etc. Its not an issue to wait a few extra hours. It keeps everything a little easier to track as well.

ok thanks a lot
before any of your replies i redosed last night hop this wont mess things up??
best wishes
