Begining New Tank

When do most 46 gallon tanks end their "begining sycle?" I had a 30 gallon and it was about 5 months is it faster with a bigger tank? Thanks for the help

We talking marines? If so anywhere between 1-4 weeks depending on how soupy the LR was when you popped it in.

yes marines, and i have some brown algae on the sand in my tank and it reapears everyday, how do i get rid of that? I have nassirous snails and turbos too.

The brown you mention is likely to be diatoms, they are normal in a recently cycled tank, what cuc do you have? And, how often and how much of a watr change do you do?
