Be Cheaper To Go To The Vets

Just been looking on Amazon Co.UK for fish meds and came across. Maracyn 2.
They won't £54,00 plus shipping costs.
I thought it was illegal to ship antibiotics into this country.

wow, £54, thats kinda pricey, regardless of whether its illegal to shop these kinds of meds or not.
 
I would not know which meds are legal and which are not, thats half the problem about looking for suitable meds for the fish keeping hobby for members in UK and presumably for other countries like NZ or AUS etc.

US members how much do you pay for Maracyn 2.

Canadian here. That's probably 20$ CAN worth right there. Unless it's in bulk you generally won't pay more for any type of non-prescription fish related medication. I've seen that brand around, but API is the main producer of fish antibiotics in my area, and Tetracycline (10 pack), Melafix (16 fl oz) and Erythromycin (10 pk) - all of which are bacterial treatments, are all 17.99$ or cheaper.
 
EDIT: Though I notice that's a 24 count pack, so if you math it out it's about 35$ + change, so still pricey at 54, especially if you arent including shipping

Just found this one altho they are currently out of stock £5.93 for 8 packets which would equal roughly £18 for the 24 pkts
