My fav LFS is sadly closing down, Copnor Tropicals (or Tropnor Copicals, as my 3yr old said t'other day) at Garsons Garden Centre, Funtley. Therefore, they have some good deals on tanks.

Fish selection is a bit low, though they do have some cheap Discus.

Sad to hear they are closing down, but their normal fish prices were shocking, even when they were running promotions like 20% off. When there is a Maidenhead Aquatics store on Mill Lane as well, something was going to have to give at some point...

Where is this shop? May take a little drive if there is anything left worth going for on Saturday? I see you guys are all right down south of Hampshire. Am i taking a trip to the seaside too?

You're right, though I did find that they knew what they were talking about most of the time. For some reason, I always use the price of veiltail Siamese Fighting Fish as a guide to how expensive a shop is. Copnor had them at £7 (less the 20%). Emsworth Tropicals in Portsmouth (my localest LFS) has them at £3.50. On the other hand Aquajardin (IIRC that's your favourite?) had them at £12.

The easiest way to tell you is to look up on MA's site for directions to their Fareham branch, drive past them, and literally a mile up is Garsons Garden Centre, immediately before the M27 bridge. (If you're familiar with the M27, as you drive westbound, you see the place on the left at the start of the implausibly long slip road for J9).

Just remembered that I also saw what I think was a Plakat SFF, but they didn't seem to have priced it any different to a veiltail. It may have been a female SFF, but it seemed too brightly coloured to be a female.
