Bargain Or What!

so... was out on the bike today and just happened to spot a fish tank in someones back garden... looks about 60 litres and had a whole host of stuff in it!

It came with...
tank lid
light unit
massive aerator
huge airstone
fluval 3plus
interpet hydor corner filter (450 lh)
15 fake plants (now in pond)
3 slabs of slate

tank never used and all stuff new... guess how much...

20 pounds.

i almost fainted

thinking of turning it into fast flowing riverine tank and would like advice on stocking

as far as cycling is concerned i am covered... what colour scheme (i already have a black tank... how about white gravel black background?

yeh that is good i had a similer exp

i was looking for a bigger tank and a friend told me of one near where i lived for £60 it was 3ft long and came with two buckets of stones bunches of fake plant a heater filter airpump and light

what i didnt know thinking it was only about 150L was when i measured it, it worked out to 250L! and i got all of that for a mesly £60

isnt it great when things come cheap

Just a fish suggestion for a tank with good flow is Borneo Suckers, they are beautiful little fish, peaceful as anything towards other fish and mostly to each other and they come in all sorts of patterns. A Lovely little gem of a fish.

sounds a bargain. =] iv noticed one in someones house down the road... but parents would be annoy if i got it + iv got 2 60L tanks spare...

+1 Pristine water conditions, cooler than average, and fast flow rate is ideal for Borneo Suckers (aka Hillstream Loaches)
