Well, well, well... I got myself another tank today. Juwel Rio 400 (450 litres), fully watertight and scratch free. Obviously it needs a lighting unit and I have just placed an order with a family member to build me a home-made stand, but then I'm ready to go.

Sooooo, what do you think I paid for this monster tank? :hey:

Seeing as how excited you are, I wil guess under £100.00

Please do not tell me if you got it for free...

It wasn't for free, that's all I'm saying for now. I had to pay for it after winning it on ebay. But how much, that is the question. :shifty:

I shall keep the suspense going until the child goes to bed, which can be anything from 7pm and 9pm. You'd better wish he falls asleep fast ;)

If we guess the right price, do we win the tank?

£1.79

£11.50?

we got our 4' 150l for about £6 on ebay :) i love ebay :)

I'm slightly concerned that your house, which looks like it's made of cardboard, will need to support nearly half a ton of weight with this thing...

Well, there is a clear winner here! He even found the actual tank. Dan is right! 99 pence!!!

I won it the other day, didn't expect it to be any good hence I haven't mentioned it here, but as I live just 10 minutes away I thought "ah well, I'll see what it is like and if not the skip is on the way". Well, I don't get why he described it as well used, because it is fantastic. I inspected it back and forth and side and wherever and I can't see any blimming scratches! The odd very light one, but you don't see them with water in. And he says the trimming shows signs of wear. I mean really? There was 1cm slightly peeled, I wouldn't even notice. I didn't until he pointed it out when I handed him over his £1. And the sealing of the bars will be a job done in minutes. I really don't know what he was on about, it's in great condition! Silly man, he has let go of a great tank for a peanut price. My bargain and my perfect malawi tank :D

If we guess the right price, do we win the tank?

£1.79

Good try ;)

I paid him £1, although he should have offered to give me a penny back

Erm, that's my son's wooden play house.
