Banning Betta Cups

!!!!!!!
You Beta died due to an infected head thankyou.
I can't evan find a test kit in my pet store. Second my females are very healthy and if one dies with in the next week I will buy one.

See FBT? Those were the rude remarks I was talking about. That's when I would just stop listening because he obviously does not know the circumstances of You Beta's death.

I think it's an absolutely wonderful thing to do! You would be in a position to educate people about betta cups when you talk to them, so even if they didn't sign you'd still put the seed of doubt in their minds the next time they visit the store.
You could probably go a step further and contact your local rescue shelter or aquarium society to for further support. Who knows? Every time I walk into a pet store with the betta cups, I have a feeling that the time has come for things to change.

I applaud you and I hope you follow through with the idea despite the trolling going on around the forums. (What the heck has happened to this forum, btw?)

thanks:) I am going down to A food mart on my bike to see if anyone will sign there.

I had always hated those wretched Betta cups. When I bought my little girl, her cup was filthy. All of the cups were disgusting. But I doubt fighting could really do anything. Money is all that matters, not the well being of the creatures.

i agree with the original poster, am sick of hearing about people keeping betta's in tiny living quarters with no filter, these people are taking fish keeping back to the stone ages.

The problem i have is why do they have to use those TINY ones when you can use the ones that most breeders use, the 1/2 gallon ones.
