Ball Like Organism Found With Daphnia

I had brought some Daphnia(to raise) just a few days ago from a local pet shop.
 
I had found round ball-like organisms with Daphnia at that time.
It didn't bother me as these organisms were very few as compared to the daphnia.
 
Now, after 20 days approx. I see that these organisms have multiplied themselves
in large numbers. Now, there population is equal to that of daphnia.
 
I am really worried now.....I just have no idea whether these creatures are
good for daphnia or not. And also accidentally I may feed these to my fishes as well.
