Tank been up and running for around 2 months now.
One of the planted bogwood in the tank has started to grow something on the leaves and log ?

is this just bacteria ?

Bacterial blooms make the water hazy, they don't grow in clumps on plants or wood. It's most likely some sort of algae; can you give us description of what it looks like?

A couple more.
Seems to be small clumps of fine white needles.

If its algae, is it anything to be worried about ?

Yes, it's some sort of algae; won't do any harm, though it does look unsightly. Might be worth reposting in the planted section somewhere; they're the experts on algae :good:
